Since the company was founded, Spruced-Up has grown into a successful business and now employs staff who are highly motivated. Staff selection is taken very seriously and the recruitment process is proven by the team of hard working professionals. All employees are checked with the Criminal Records Bureau prior to selection. Direct staff are employed through the PAYE scheme and insured. They are aware of their responsibilities regarding H&S and adhere to company ethics ensuring that the company reputation remains intact and the quality of work is paramount at all times.

Spruced-Up has expanded through hard work and always sold on the quality of the workmanship. Training and development is the key to our success producing a team of competent personnel who are skilled in their specific trade. A combination of all the skills required to complete a high class project is so important when offering landscape services, in house we have a designer, skilled labourers, bricklayers, carpenters, grounds maintenance operatives, machine drivers, patio and driveway layers and experienced tree and forestry workers. By combining these skills it is possible to confidently offer full landscaping services, and this is the difference which makes an all together professional company. Internal development ensures that we are able to promote from within the company and give trainees and apprentices the vision to succeed.

From inception, Spruced-Up has always relied on local support to build itself up. Not forgetting this, the directors have always made provision for taking on jobs of all size. However small the enquiry it was an objective of the company to look after regular customers. This philosophy has been maintained and whatever is required, wherever they can help, Spruced-Up will look at local jobs with equal enthusiasm whatever the value. Most of the customers are aware and pleased that Spruced-Up will look after all the jobs in the garden and even include a little painting or general property maintenance as required. Although there is no intention to branch into building work Spruced-Up will look at small building projects including garage conversions and internal rennovations as required and with equal professionalism and care as the gardening work.
